Woodard Consulting Hello High Achievers.  It's Thursday May 7th, 2020 the next 90 days are crucial to the success of your business.  If you've been with this blog for a while you know I love to use the analogy of the discipline of the ant and the seasons.  This week it's both.  I was walking Saturday morning before the 80+ temperature came down and as I ended my walk I sat on a bench to rest.  I looked down and saw a colony of ants.  They were going in two different directions,  not crossing each other and not stopping each other as they were going to the nest and coming from the nest.  It was and always is amazing to watch.  They are disciplined.  If you step in their path without crushing them they will go around you and get back in line, like it never happened.  Let the government shut down the country, so what, they are out there right now scouring for food to store for the winter which is seven months away.   Spring sta

Good evening all. This month it's time to start planting our seeds. What are your goals for 2019? Let's start there. This is our 1st quarter check. Pull out your yearly planner and turn to the page marked March 9,2019. What does it say? Nothing! What does that mean to you? It says to me it's time to make a change. This is going to be Saturday so you should be free for a few hours to get some planning done. Who knows what's next on the list of goals? 1. Make a choice. 2.  Create a plan. 3. Dream big, have a vision, do what you love. For this post I want to talk about transitioning from step 2 to step 3 dreams. This video is one of my all time favorites. I love the energy of this song, and I love this video. This is how you must feel about what it is you're doing everyday. I know, I know, I know, it's hard to break away from the masses and what you've been told your whole life. "Go to school, get good grades, and get a good job. You'

Good Evening, I'm glad to you all are here. I have been pondering what to write about these last few months, I have started a couple of post but nothing worked.  I've had so many things to attend to one of the major ones being my son now entering his final year of high school and preparing for  4 year college which is very time consuming and detailed, he is also dual enrolled in the local Community College since last summer and all year, yes it is a lot.  Along with that planning my next business venture, etc.,  but here I am missing you and wanting to stay consistent in giving you helpful information. Today is so awesome. I am happy with a mentee who just hired his first contracted commissioned employee. As a small business entity you want to keep cost to a minimum so hiring an independent contracted employee his obligation is at a minimal and the amount of income his staff earns is based totally on self performance.   Good morning, it's a great day and the month is moving along.  It's May and a month shy of the mid-year check.  This post is to remind those who say they want to create for their generational legacy.  What are you waiting for?  I speak with those who keep making excuses.  I speak with those who say I need this, or I need that.  I can tell you that yes they could use those things to get their dream off the ground and running, but I will also tell you that every excuse was created in a classroom of doubt and fear starting in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade.  I fit the same category.  I often put things off and find reasons not to move forward.  I am always coming up with a new idea and if it doesn't take off quickly, I get bored or lose interest.  I have often jumped back and forth in and out of working for a company to generate fast cash, which seems to always end with me being a little farther behind then when I started, which means I waste pre

This is a great time to review your 2015 goals list. It’s easy to get off track as days, weeks, and months move quickly.
