It is my belief that the most successful business owners comprehend finances. They may not be accounting wizards, but they know or learn and pay attention to what its purpose is and how its used to maintain and grow their business. Accounting is the language of business. It takes a little effort and repetion, but you have to have knowldge then apply it to move forward and you must pass it on to your heirs to build generational wealth. There are many videos on the subject however the following gives a good begining point to get your interest peaked. The rest is up to you and how far you wish to grow your business. Make sure you take your time and take plenty of notes. Even if you have an accountant, as a business owner you should have a superior knowledge of all aspects of your business.
