Hello High Achievers, We have one more day before we begin the ascension towards the fall season.  This is crucial.  Here in the south the weather will stay mild right through the middle of winter, but for many other territories it will become cold.  The cold is the time that things slow down. People don't go out as much. People are more likely to hold on to their coins tighter just in case they go through a rough patch.  The summer is when we get tricked or lulled into believing things are great when as a business owner, especially in this time on this planet, we need to focus on preparation for what is to come. Learn from the ant.  I began a garden this spring, and since the beginning of the summer since I transplanted the plants into my backyard, I have been terrorized by the ant colonies.  They are relentless.  They operate on the principle of winter's coming, winter's coming, so they work all spring and summer with that one purpose and that one disc

It's a couple of days before the Summer Solstice.  This creates two great events.  One the longest day of the year, and two the half way mark of the year end.  2020 has been an eye-opening year.  These last few months have been a major challenge for everyone in the world.  What we have come to believe as our normal life was flipped upside down and landed on a tilted angle like the Earth during the Solstice's.  No one I know saw this coming.  The question is and always has been, what are we going to do about it?  Why do we care what others think about us?  Other people's opinion of what you are doing is their problem.  I speak with many people who are living their lives to please others.  I deal with many people who judge the lives of others.  My creed is to mind my own business.  We individually have enough issues of our own to never concern ourselves with anyone else, yet we think that others are thinking about us, or doing something to make us act or react the way

Woodard Consulting Hello High Achievers.  It's Thursday May 7th, 2020 the next 90 days are crucial to the success of your business.  If you've been with this blog for a while you know I love to use the analogy of the discipline of the ant and the seasons.  This week it's both.  I was walking Saturday morning before the 80+ temperature came down and as I ended my walk I sat on a bench to rest.  I looked down and saw a colony of ants.  They were going in two different directions,  not crossing each other and not stopping each other as they were going to the nest and coming from the nest.  It was and always is amazing to watch.  They are disciplined.  If you step in their path without crushing them they will go around you and get back in line, like it never happened.  Let the government shut down the country, so what, they are out there right now scouring for food to store for the winter which is seven months away.   Spring sta
